Privacy Policy
How Hockey Registry handles public hockey data, product-use information and privacy.
Our approach
Hockey Registry is designed around public youth-hockey information and limited product-use data. We aim to collect only the information reasonably needed to operate, secure and improve the service.
Information you provide
We may receive information you voluntarily submit through feedback, correction, support, partnership or account workflows, such as your name, email address, message and the team or record you are asking about.
Technical information
Like most online services, hosting and security systems may process limited technical information such as IP address, browser or device type, request logs, timestamps and basic analytics used to operate and protect the site.
Public hockey data
Hockey Registry may compile and organize publicly available hockey information such as team identities, game results, schedules, leagues, organizations and ranking context. Public-source information can be corrected or reclassified as identity and coverage evidence improves.
Youth privacy
The public ranking site is not designed to collect private personal information directly from children. Hockey Registry does not intentionally request home addresses, private contact details, private school records or similar sensitive information from youth players. Player-level information, where offered, is subject to separate validation and privacy controls.
How information is used
Information may be used to operate the service, respond to support and correction requests, secure the platform, improve coverage and usability, manage accounts or commercial relationships, and comply with legal obligations.
Sharing and service providers
Limited information may be processed by infrastructure, hosting, analytics or other service providers acting on Hockey Registry’s behalf. Hockey Registry does not sell personal information to advertisers.
Retention and choices
Information is retained only as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, legal obligations, security and recordkeeping. You may request review of an incorrect public record or contact us about privacy questions through the Contact page.
Updates
This policy can be updated as Hockey Registry adds features or changes service providers. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
